The Mahoragakuen Chutobu 2-A: July: Mahora Cheerleading CD was released in Japan on April 21, 2004 by Star Child (King Records). This CD was released prior to the TV anime series that would air in January of the next year.

The CD features character songs for Sakurako Shiina, Misa Kakizaki, and Madoka Kugimiya. This was the fourth disc released during 2004 in the 12-month span where character CD's featuring all the classmates would release monthly.


Item Details:
    All songs were performed by the voice actresses, Akane Omae, Shizuka Itou, and Mami Deguchi, the voices of Sakurako Shiina, Misa Kakizaki, and Madoka Kugimiya respectively. The lyrics of If Pom-Poms are in Our Hands, We'll win were written by Kenzo Saito, the composition and arrangement was by Mika Watanabe, while the arrangement to the remixed version was by Jack Tribulation.

    The art featured on the cover of Negima's CD releases are unique and are not reused art. The Mahoragakuen Chutobu 2-A releases features art of characters in the same art-style as the TV series, but the designs were not yet nailed down, so there were minor cosmetic differences than what would appear in the final form.
