The ​​​Mahoragakuen Chutobu 2-A: September: Movement of 4 Friends CD was released in Japan on ​June 23, 2004 by Star Child (King Records). This CD was released prior to the TV anime series that would air in January of the next year.

The CD features character songs for the four sports girls of class 2-A. This was the sixth disc released during 2004 in the 12-month span where character CD's featuring all the classmates would release monthly.


Item Details:
    All songs were performed by the voice actresses Kotomi Yamakawa, Madoka Kimura, Azumi Asakura. and Yui Horie, the voices of Ako Izumi, Yuna Akashi, Akira Okouchi, and Makie Sasaki respectively. The lyrics of GLOW WILD were written by Inoue Galaxy and the composition/arrangement was done by Kisaragi Eiji. The remix arrangement was done by Shoichi Isogane.

    The art featured on the cover of Negima's CD releases are unique and are not reused art. The Mahoragakuen Chutobu 2-A releases features art of characters in the same art-style as the TV series, but the designs were not yet nailed down, so there were minor cosmetic differences than what would appear in the final form.

    The Pactio Card released with this CD is not an exact replica of what appears in the series, notably as the backside is unique. This series of cards were released with various pieces of media, exclusively with the CD and DVD releases. All the students of Negi's class had a card. There are larger cards made with higher quality plastic material and are made to look like a replica that were released later on. The plastic cards are thicker and are noticeably larger than the paper cards. All the plastic cards are 7.8cm x 14cm in size while all the cards with the dimensions of ​11.5cm x 6.4 cm are made of the thin paper material.
