​ ​The Mahou Sensei Negima! Mahora Academy Junior High School Class 2-A Magic 4 DVD was released in Japan on September 22, 2005 by KING RECORDS for ￥7,000. This volume contains episodes from the original Negima! TV series by XEBEC that was broadcast in the August of 2004.


Item Details:
    This is the fourth volume of seven that was released for XEBEC's Negima! TV anime series. Included are episodes 13 through 16 of the series. The initial release also included the Pactio Cards of Misa Kakizaki, Misora Kasuga, and Chachamaru Karakuri.

    The art on the cover features the kind and maternal figure, Konoka. The cover illustration was designed by Hatsue Kato. This release contained updated episodes that differed from the original broadcast version, as many episodes had updated altered animation or were redone entirely.

    The Pactio Cards released with this DVD is not an exact replica of what appears in the series, notably as the backside is unique. This series of cards were released with various pieces of media, exclusively with the CD and DVD releases. All the students of Negi's class had a card. The cards are printed on a thin paper material and measure 11.5cm x 6.4cm. There are larger cards made with higher quality plastic material and are made to look like a replica that were released later on.
