The Mahou Sensei Negima! Mahorara Gakuen Middle School 2-A: Home Room DVD & CD-Rom was released in Japan on March 24, 2005 by King Records. This set was released prior to XEBEC's Negima! TV anime series as a preview and promotional material.

This is the fourth and final of four in the "Semester" series releases; this series contain two discs with a mixture of dramas, songs, and concert footage. Three of the releases contain anime shorts. Unlike the other releases, this contains a DVD and CD-Rom. The first disc is a DVD, containing the third and last episode of the XEBEC's Negima! Intro Film short anime series as well as footage from a series' concert closing ceremony event. A CD-ROM was also included. It features a small variety of desktop accessories. Included were a number of wallpapers and screensavers. In addition, a short 3-D video drama was included, featuring Ayaka, Natsumi, and Chizuru. In addition, also included is a booklet containing rough sketches of the episode's storyboard. Item Contents:
