The ​Magical Message Book Vol. 1​ was released in Japan on December 7, 2006 by Konami for ¥600. These books were released as merchandise for Studio Shaft's Negima!? TV series.


Background Info:
    This book is part of Negima!? Magical Message Book series and is considered to be part of chapter 1. Despite being the first chapter, there were no future chapters released. Each book is only 8-pages long and feature one of the popular girls from the series. There are unique illustrations of the characters included in each book and a background setting to pose Konami's FIGUMATE figure line. In addition, character lines activated by a button voiced by the character's Japanese voice actress, with three unique dialogue options in all.

    There are ten different books in all, with seven different girls featured. Seven of the books are considered common, each focusing on a different character. Three of the students appear on another book, these remaining three being considered rare. These alternate volumes have different art, backgrounds, and voice lines. Each volume was sold in a blind box.


Item Details:
    This books features the main heroine, Asuna Kagurazaka. She is one of three characters to be featured in two books, one common and the other rare: this is the common version.
