This is the 16th volume of a series of 38 books in total about the challenges of Negi, a child wizard who is tasked with teaching a class of junior-high girls all while searching for clues to lead to his missing father. It was written by author, Ken Akamatsu.

Item Details:
    This is another volume to have a limited edition release. The limited release includes a guidebook to the second anime TV series, Negima!?, by Studio Shaft, which was currently airing during this issue's release. The book contains useful information about the animated series, character designs, and other tidbits. Also included is a cast script for the first episode of the Negima!? series. Several signatures from the cast were printed throughout the script. Make note, printed, not individually autographed. An Asuna Kagurazaka Rare/Armor Neo Pactio Card is also included, an item featured in Shaft's series.

    The manga itself does have a slight change; the volume's actual binding cover instead is illustrated by the Japanese voice actress of Setsuna Sakurazaki, Yu Kobayashi. The class roster that appears in the back of every book was also replaced with featuring her work. The author portion of the slip cover is also replaced with Kobayashi's art. The rest of the manga is the same and is printed in the standard black-and-white.
