Negima!? Neo Volume 3 (Limited Edition) was released in Japan on November 16, 2007 by Kodansha for ￥1,143. This is the third volume of a series of seven books in total about the challenges of Negi, a child wizard who is tasked with teaching a class of junior-high girls all while searching for clues to lead to his missing father.
This series was written by Takuya Fujima and is a spin-off of the original manga and is essentially, a retelling. It was released under the supervision of Studio SHAFT for their Negima!? anime series.

This is another volume to have a limited edition release. The limited release includes three Neo Pactio Cards: the Sayo Aisaka Cosplay Card, the Fuka Narutaki Armor/Rare Card, and the Ayaka Yukihiro Suka/Dud Card. These cards measure about 11.5 x 6.4 centimeters.
Also included is a mini mousepad sporting a unique illustration. That measures 11-centimeters in height and 17-centimeters in width.
The slip-cover is slightly different than the standard release; the cover features the character's in different attire, now wearing gym uniforms. The manga itself has no changes and is printed in the standard black-and-white.
