The Mahou Sensei Negima! Mahorara Gakuen Middle School 2-A: 1st Semester CD & DVD was released in Japan on April 28, 2004 by King Records. This set was released prior to XEBEC's Negima! TV anime series as a preview and promotional material.

This is the first of four in the "Semester" series releases; this series contain two discs with a mixture of dramas, songs, and concert footage. Three of the releases contain anime shorts. Disc 1: This disc contains audio dramas and unique character songs composed by Shinkichi Mitsumune. Aside from live-versions, these are exclusive to this release. Tracks:
