If there was one song to represent the entire Negima series, it would be Happy☆Material. This has acted as an opening for the original XEBEC TV anime series and different remixes/arrangements would serve as openings to the Ala Alba OAD series and UQ Holder's TV anime. It also was featured as an insert song in the Negima!? anime series.

There are many versions of this song and quite a number of covers as well. There were several different versions of the song used in the original series as the opening, with different arrangements and singers. A series of CD's was released around that time with each version.
