After searching several locations around the foreign city of London, Makie points out the main Negi party, much to their shock. Makie, joined by Ayaka and Yuna, greet Negi and Asuna. Makie asks if they would like to tour London together, but Konoka let's it slip that they will soon be going to Negi's hometown, much to Asuna's dismay. Just the idea of seeing the town where her teacher grew up sent Ayaka into an episode and the class rep proceeds to ask Negi if they can join. Negi agrees, once again to Asuna's dismay. She promptly pulls him aside and reminds him that that his hometown is filled with mages, but their conversation is interupted by the arrival of Donet McGuiness, who assures them both it should be no trouble They even received permission from Merdiana's dean to bring the students who were not knowledgeable of magic. At the sight of Donet, both Negi and Yuna are surprised to see her, but are more bewildered by each other's acknowledgement.
Queue a skipped train ride and with a few exceptions, Negi and his full class have made it to Wales, Pembrokeshire County. From a grassy hilltop, the girls admire the scenery and comment on Negi's hometown. Asuna acquires on Negi's feelings about being home after such a long absence and Negi explains just how long it seems, commenting it's almost like a fantasy. Their conversation is cut short by a woman yelling Negi's name in the distance and is running to the boy. Upon seeing her, Negi returns the cry and begins to exclaim "Onee-chan!" and run for his sister. She embraces him in a hug as his students watch the heartfelt reunion. However, they also amusingly point out the bizarre image when Negi changes the tone as he swings his sister off the ground, despite his much smaller stature. His sister, Nekane, immediately begins to barrage Negi with questions, concerned about his well-being. Negi then introduces her to many of the students of his class, who are excited to make her acquaintance.
