​The Negima: Magic 101: The Basics of Magic: Limited Edition DVD Box was released in North America on August 1, 2006 by FUNimation for the retail price of $44.98 USD. This volume contains episodes from the original TV series that broadcast in the August of 2004.


Item Details:
    This box originally contained a DVD of the first of six volumes released in the set with the Negima! anime by Studio XEBEC. It includes the first six episodes of the show and contains both English subtitles and dub. Multiple special features were also included on the disc.

    There were both standard and limited edition releases of each volume; this is the limited edition release for volume one. Included is a unique decorative box, intended to hold all six DVD volumes of the series, an Asuna figure, and a character sticker sheet as well as the first volume of the anime. The DVD case came sealed in a a plastic wrap.

    It is worth noting that the figures released in the limited edition volumes are not unique and are part of the FIGUMATE figure line that was released in Japan by Konami. In addition, the chibi-artwork on the sticker sheet are also design renders for the FIGUMATE toys. This particular Asuna figure was part of the Negima! Chapter 4 set.
