Negima! Magister Negima Magi Vol. 6 (New Release) was released in Japan on February 9, 2017 by Kodansha. This book was part of the story of the boy wizard by author, Ken Akamatsu.

This is volume 6 of the 19-volume re-release to the popular 2003 series focusing on Negi, a boy wizard who is tasked with teaching a class of junior-high girls all while searching for clues to lead to his missing father. 

In 2016, new releases of Negima's original manga began to hit stores once more to commemorate the sequel series', UQ Holder, had been green-lit for an anime series. The new releases would be in an omnibus-form and would contain two volumes of the manga instead of releasing all 38. In addition, these releases featured new art of featured characters in the artist's modern style on the cover and each was splashed with sparkle effects.
