Regardless the series, Negima's anime always features the voice talent singing the opening and ending theme songs, whether it be independently or in a group. This particular anime is unique as all the girls in class 2-A get their time to shine.

The full OST collection from the original Negima! anime was released over the span of two separate CD's, named Ongaku no Jugyou -Omo ni Shusseki Bangou no Uta- and Ongaku no Jugyou II Jikan me - Magical Land respectively. The latter contained a bulk of the opening's different versions.
