Mahou Sensei Negima! 1-Jikanme ~Okochama Sensei wa Mahoutsukai!~ was released in Japan on January 20, 2005 by Konami. It was released for the series' main manga.
As the child teacher, Negi, continues to do his best teaching a group of junior high girls, the Headmaster gives him a simple task: in two weeks time, class 2-A must pull their rank from dead last on the final exam. If he fails, Negi will be fired. Negi must go around and help aid his students in their studies! It is loosely based on the first three volumes of the manga.
This game came out for Sony's PlayStation 2 console and was never released or localized outside Japan. It's part of the action and visual novel genres. The story is made up of 12 sub-chapters, each focusing on a specific character or group.
This game had three separate releases: Special Treatment ver., Honor Student ver., and Konami's Best ver. These releases would include different physical items and would each vary in price. They included unique bonuses exclusive to their release, with the exception of Konami's Best version, which would be released later than the initial release date for a reduced price.
This is the Special Treatment version, the most expensive of those released. Included is the game, which comes in a standard PlayStation 2 case with the same cover as the other versions. Inside is the game disc and the manual. Another DVD-styled case is included, containing a special drama CD titled "Mahora Girls Vol. 1" and it also comes with a foldout. These items are encased in a special decorative box with a design different from the game case.
