The story begins with Negi, the protagonist of Negima, arriving at school and greeting his students. He encounters Yuna, Makie, Ako, and Akira, all of whom arrived early for sport activities and sees the Library Exploration Trio, Yue, Nodoka, and Haruna, who also had club activities. Lastly, Asuna appears on the stairwell, happy to see that Negi didn't sleep in. The nostalgia continues as Negi is unable to hold in a sneeze and all of the girl's clothing is stripped from their bodies due to Negi's unstable wind magic. As Asuna chews him out, Evangeline listens to their typical commotion, recalling the scene fondly.
The scene pans to Evangeline alone, discussing the issue of immortality with the audience. She explains after living for 700 years, while life has its good moments, even the longest of lifetimes if over in a blink of an eye. It's rough and everything will eventually be forgotten. The scene shows Evangeline, who remains the same age, with her peers in 3-A, leaving them as adults, leaving her doll, Chachazero behind, and eventually being totally alone. A voice calls out to her and offers his hand. Evangeline accepts the invitations and walks with a new group. Then begins the current time period 80 years later.
Yukihime, a tall blonde woman walks toward a school when suddenly ambushed by a group of five boys, set on "defeating" her today. Before they're able to touch her, something surrounding her prevents them from making physical contact and she takes the opportunity to kick the lot into a nearby pond. While at school, it is revealed that she is their teacher.
