    This is the first volume of the series to have a limited edition release. This limited edition set includes a variety of extras, mainly Negima-related. This release is also labeled "Negima! BOX" and its release was to lure in past fans of Negima. Included in the decorative box is a DVD, an Evangeline wall scroll, a Negima/UQ Holder Memo book, a 2017 Negima monthly calendar, and a newly designed replica Evangeline Pactio Card. The manga itself has no changes and is printed in the standard black-and-white.​ It also includes a colored slip cover around the book itself and has no cosmetic changes, unlike future limited edition release.     The DVD includes an interview with the creator of Negima/UQ Holder, Ken Akamatsu, and Yuki Matsuoka, the Japanese voice actor of Evangeline A. K. McDowell. It also features three songs with brand new animation, later revealed to be from an upcoming Negima pachinko game from the times of the volumes' release. The Memo book includes an interview with Ken Akamatsu, concept art and concept chapter from UQ Holder, along with a variety of notes about the series, including the reveal of Negima's crush. The Negima 2017 calendar includes 12 different card sheets for each month of the year, each featuring a different character.
