Uta no CD 2 was released in Japan on March 7, 2007 by King Records. This CD was released to go alongside with Shaft's TV anime series, Negima!?

This is the second release out of two containing character songs from the Negima!? TV series. The CD features songs for the cast of the series, namely the classmates, Negi, and Schimichi and Motsu.
