UQ Holder News: English Cast List and Clip Released!
The English cast list has come out for UQ Holder today and Sentai Filmworks also released a short clip, displaying a brief exchange between Touta and Yukihime.
With Sentai now dubbing the series, many of Negima's former voices were replaced, but Greg Ayres and Luci Christian will reprise their roles of Negi and Asuna respectively. Monica Rial also keeps her former roles and takes on the noble, Dana.
Some of the main cast is as follows:
Touta Konoe - Brittney Karbowski Brittney has been a prominent anime voice actress for over a decade now, with many notable roles under her belt. A small selection of her roles include Ayu Tsukimiya from Kanon, Yuri Nakumura from Angel Beats, Wendy Marvel from Fairy Tail, and Black Star from Soul Eater. She also voiced Anya in the second Negima!? series.
Kuromaru Tokisaka - Kalin Coates While definely fresh to the voice world, Kalin has appeared in a number of titles, such as Utakata Misogi in Chilvary of a Failed Knight, Taeko Kondou in Girls und Panzer, and as a young Esdeath in Akame ga Kill.
Yukihime - Heidi Hinkel Heidi is new to anime voices, only with a single credit, as Seven in Princess Principle.
Evangeline/Kitty - Shanae’a Moore With a select few roles from the past few years, a couple of her works include Beatrice in Princess Priniciple, Kanae Yajima in Aoharu x Machinegun, and Eiko Adachi in Amagi Brilliant Park.
Karin Yuuki - Molly Searcy With having acted in over 50 roles, Molly may be a familiar voice, especially in recent works by Sentai. She has voiced many noticable roles, such as Centorea Shianus in Monster Masume, Isuzu Sento in Amagi Brilliant Park, Reiko Mikami in Another, and Akame in Akame ga Kill!.
Kirie Sakurame - Amanda Lee While appearing in only a select number of roles since 2004, some of her work includes Akiho Shinomoto in Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, Anzu in Hinamatsuri, and Peipain in Show by Rock!!
