This story follows protagonist, Touta Konoe, the grandson of the famous mage, Negi Springfield. After a bounty hunter comes to collect the life of Touta's teacher and guardian, Yukihime, an infamous vampire with a hefty bounty on her head, Touta manages to save her life, but it results in him also being met with the vampiric curse. They're forced to leave their country home and set off to form their own immortal family. Touta is faced with the refinements of his ancestor's past and must find his answer in all the chaos.

This manga is a direct sequel to Mahou Sensei Negima!, but it has a bit darker elements than its predecessor.
